You can insert the current date or time anywhere in the document.

To insert the current date, do the following:

1.Place the cursor where you want to insert the current date.

2.Run the insert command in one of the following ways:

•On the Insert tab, click  Date.

•When working in macOS, select Insert > Current date command from the command menu.

To insert the current time, do the following:

1.Place the cursor where you want to insert the current time.

2.Insert the time in one of the following ways:

•On the Insert tab, click  Time.

•When working in macOS, select Insert > Current time command from the command menu.
